Actress is first to leave Strictly
Actress Chizzy Akudolu was first contestant to leave the new BBC series of Strictly Come Dancing.
Ex-holby City star Akudolu, 43, faced the dance off with comedian Brian Conley, 56, after the results of the viewers’ vote were combined with the judges’ scores.
Akudolu and dance part- ner Pasha Kovalev performed their foxtrot in last night’s dance off.
Judge Craig Revel Horwood said he wanted to save Akudolu because he “loved” watching her dance “more”.
But Darcey Bussell and Bruno Tonioli opted to save Conley for “having more dance content”. New head judge Shirley Ballas saved Conley, saying his dance had “a bit more musicality and content”.
