Scotland’s Outlaw King: Robert the Bruce’s story comes to life as actors film at cathedral

Hollywood actor Chris Pine shoots scenes at Glasgow Cathedral for the forthcomin­g Outlaw King historical action drama about Robert the Bruce and the Wars of Independen­ce. It is written and directed by David Mackenzie and will be distribute­d by Netflix. Filming began in August at locations near Linlithgow, West Lothian. Other locations include Linlithgow Palace, Craigmilla­r Castle in Edinburgh, Dunfermlin­e Abbey and Mugdock Castle near Glasgow. Creative Scotland is supporting the filming of the Scottish-american historical drama.
