Scotland’s Outlaw King: Robert the Bruce’s story comes to life as actors film at cathedral
Hollywood actor Chris Pine shoots scenes at Glasgow Cathedral for the forthcoming Outlaw King historical action drama about Robert the Bruce and the Wars of Independence. It is written and directed by David Mackenzie and will be distributed by Netflix. Filming began in August at locations near Linlithgow, West Lothian. Other locations include Linlithgow Palace, Craigmillar Castle in Edinburgh, Dunfermline Abbey and Mugdock Castle near Glasgow. Creative Scotland is supporting the filming of the Scottish-american historical drama.
