Dundee United Settled formation

It’s hard to argue with cold hard facts. Unbeaten in September with eight league points from a possible 12 and victories over teams we would consider title rivals, it might just be that United have turned the corner.

Saturday’s performance at East End Park might finally be the sign that we have a settled formation and tactics. The two up front that many fans have called for has brought the results in the last two matches and hopefully the manager will recognise we need to be positive. He will argue about fitness and injuries but as the squad is bolstered by players coming back he has to ensure there is clarity of purpose and he knows his best XI. Saturday’s game against Linfield needs to be treated as a bounce game.
