A case of having your cake and eating it

Baking is big news at the moment with the latest series of The Great British Bake Off in full flow.

National Baking Week falls in October too and Walker Group is offering a sweet incentive to buyers at Hopefield Park in Bonnyrigg in Midlothian.

Purchasers of the fourbedroomed Arlington and five-bedroomed Culdearn will be treated to a baking day for two at Edinburgh New Town Cookery School, on new reservations from now until the end of October.

Participants will learn to make favourites such as coloured macarons, lemon syrup sponge, walnut bread, cheese scones and rich chocolate and raspberry brownies.
