Kier in the frame with supply deal

Kier Construction Scotland has been named as one of four main supply chain partners on the new £160 million Aberdeenshire Council social housing improvement framework.

The contract will see the firm deliver up to £40 million worth of construction, renovation and maintenance improvements to thousands of council homes throughout Aberdeenshire in the next four years. The work includes installing new roofs and solar panels, renewing windows and upgrading heating and electrics.

Kier has been appointed to carry out work in the east region which includes Ellon and Peterhead.
