Manhunt after woman assaulted

Police are hunting a man who grabbed a young woman and indecently assaulted her as she was about to enter a block of flats. The woman was left “extremely distressed” following the incident in Rankeillor Street, Edinburgh, on Sunday.

The 23-year-old victim was about to enter a common stair at around 3am when a man grabbed her. She fought off her attacker and he left the area.

The man is described as white, in his early thirties, 5ft 5ins tall with a medium build, deep set eyes and very short blond hair.
