Object thrown at moving car from M-way bridge

Motorway travellers narrowly escaped injury after their car windscreen was shattered by an object thrown from a bridge.

They were showered with glass but not hurt in the incident in the Stenhousemuir area, which happened at around 7:45pm on 29 September. The Vauxhall Astra car was travelling on the M9 when it was hit under the Moss Road Overbridge. Police have appealed for information.
