Who’s unfit?

-

Former politician Alex Salmond has declared that Scottish Secretary David Mundell is being “meally mouthed” (over Catalonia) and “is not fit to be an MP”.

Mr Mundell’s electorate must consider their MP to be up to the job, with more than 49 per cent of them voting for him in June’s General Election. Alex Salmond netted 36 per cent of his former seat’s voters, losing by nearly 5 per cent to his Conservative rival. The people of Gordon Constituency clearly didn’t think Mr Salmond was fit to be their MP.

Perhaps his latest career move, reinventing Benny Hill and Bernard Manning’s brands of “humour”, will be more successful than politics.
