Kinlochshiel need just a point
The Marine Harvest Premiership title will be decided today and Kinlochshiel head for Mossfield knowing a point against Oban Camanachd will be enough to give them a historic first top-flight success.
The Shiel team should be along usual lines, while Oban have Garry Lord and Gary Mckerracher back from suspension.
Kyles Athletic, two points behind, must beat already relegated Glasgow Mid Argyll at Tighnabruaich and hope that Shiel falter. Roddy Macdonald for Kyles and GMA’S Ryan Harrison return from bans.
Tulloch Homes Camanachd Cup winners Newtonmore, with Steven Macdonald available again, head for Spean Bridge to play Lochaber, one of three sides still threatened by relegation. More are without Norman Campbell and Conor Jones, while Lochaber’s Martin Johnstone is also unavailable.
Kilmallie, currently in the drop zone, are desperate to take something from their match against Lovat at The Canal Parks.
Innes Blackhall and Craig Macisaac are banned for Kilmallie while Lovat manager Fraser Gallacher, without the services of Callum Cruden, will look to lift his troops following the disappointment of last week’s Camanachd Cup final defeat.
Fort William need to beat champions Skye Camanachd to keep their Marine Harvest National Division promotion hopes alive.
