Snowfall

John Singleton, whose debut feature was Boyz n the Hood, returns to South Central LA for this sprawling tenpart drama telling the story of the explosion of the crack cocaine trade in the US in 1983.

There are three main plotlines which follow Franklin Saint (British actor Damson Idris), a young South Central street entrepreneur who moves into the cocaine business; Teddy Mcdonald (Carter Hudson), a disgruntled CIA operative and Gustavo Zapata (Sergio Perismencheta), who gets close to Lucia Villanueva (Emily Rios), the daughter of a Mexican cartel family.
