Dumbarton Home form a real plus

- Jack Crawford

Friday night’s win over Stranraer in the Irn-bru Cup was our fourth home win in a row. We were in control for most of the game and I was surprised at Stevie Aitken’s comments post-match when he said the performance was unacceptable. The game never looked like getting away from us and he suggested there may be a few changes to the team for Saturday.

We face St Mirren looking to extend the home run. A point would take us to the magic ten for the first quarter which is always unofficially set by managers, players and fans. We seem to have had St Mirren’s number in the past but it looks as if this Buddies squad has something different with match winners like Lewis Morgan hitting form.
