Inverness Caley Thistle Let’s build on cup win

- Lynne Macdonald

Last Saturday saw a much welcome win although in the Irn-bru Cup and not the league.

The most worrying aspect of the game was the headline-grabbing fracas on the bench following the substitution of Liam Polworth. There has been a bit of gossip about dressing-room issues and it appears these finally spilled into public view. There was a feel-good moment of Saturday, however, when Daniel Mackay became the youngest player to make an appearance for the first team in our history and grabbed a goal as well. He is the tender age of 16 years 171 days! The previous record holder was the aforementioned Polworth.

The draw for the next round pulled out a home tie against Falkirk, not the most glamorous.
