Multiple attacks on LGBTI hate victims
Almost a third of LGBTI Scots who have experienced hate crime have been the victim of at least ten attacks, Equality Network figures have revealed.
A survey of LGBTI people in Scotland found that three fifths (61 per cent) considered themselves to have been a target of a hate crime at some point in their lives. Of those respondents who had suffered such an attack, 90 per cent said they had been targeted two or more times, while 30 per cent had experienced abuse on more than ten occasions.
