‘Mixed’ trading at industrial supplier

Industrial chain and power transmission supplier Renold saw its shares take a hammering after it warned over full-year earnings.

It said trading was “mixed” in the six months to September, with profitability affected by machine breakdowns at its Einbeck facility and by sustained hikes in raw material costs.
