About the author

Martyn Murray worked in nature conservation in Africa for many years, and he now lives on the Isle of Lismore, where he is setting up a nature centre. He sailed with his father in the Western Isles in his youth, and in A Wild Call (Fernhurst Books, £11.99) he retraces some of their journeys together.
