Partick Thistle Outfought again
It was hoped that the two-week break would have seen the Jags fired up and raring to go against Kilmarnock on Saturday.
Sadly, the general malaise of the previous performance at Motherwell was still hanging around like a bad smell. Yet again, Thistle were outfought, particularly in midfield, and a hungrier Kilmarnock side, with new manager Steve Clarke watching on, deservedly took the three points.
Despite the fact that the Jags are missing eight guys who would get a game for the first team, it seems some of the current fit players are not prepared to take their chance to impress the manager. This is something that should concern all of us.
