Ross County Best and worst

-

We saw the best and worst of jimo’ bri en against Hearts. He wasn’t making his tackles count and his prey continually got away from him. When County were undone on the counter-attack from their own corner-kick, there were several phases in the play where County could have prevented the first goal, but O’brien’s weak tackle when two versus two made the chance to score too easy. On the flipside, O’brien’s passing was smart and snappy and County looked their best when he was at the centre of things, but he needs to improve his defensive duels if he is to be our holding midfielder. That might be understandable as most of his career he has been a winger. Figuring out O’brien’s best position is something for Coyle to consider further.
