Woman found dead in flat is identified

A woman who died at a property in Edinburgh has been identified by police.

Moira Gilbertson, 57, was found dead at an address on Dumbiedykes Road on Saturday. Her death is being treated as a murder and a report has been sent to the procuratorfiscal.

A 52-year-old man appeared at Edinburgh Sheriff Court on Monday and is in custody.

Detective Inspector Carol Craig said: “We are not looking to speak to anyone else in connectionwiththeincident.”
