I agree with Gordon Kennedy’s perception of the National Lottery as it stands since an additional 10 numbers were added. (Letters, 16 October ). I have just done a quick check on the last eight draws.

By my calculation, numbers 50+ have been drawn 15 times, 40+ 8 times, 30+ 9 times, 20+ 7 times, 10+ 7 times, 0+ 2 times. It almost makes me think
