Brechin City Don’t write us off

Brechin City welcomed Morton to Glebe Park after the international break hoping to get their first win of the Championship season.

With both sides having very little scoring opportunities in the first half, it was all to play for in the final 45 minutes and all the luck fell to Morton who took the lead nine minutes from time to grab all three points.

It’s another hard one to take. Our position in the league really doesn’t tell the full story. Every team in the league is there to be beaten and we have come close to that on numerous occasions.

After a rash challenge on Ryan Mcgeever and the news that he will be out for four to six weeks, things don’t get any easier. But we’ve shown it before – don’t write us off just yet!
