Queen of the South Better days ahead

With the first quarter of the season complete, now is a good opportunity to assess the campaign so far. Exiting the League Cup at the group stage was disappointing, but perhaps not surprising given the number of new signings we had to integrate. We are still in the Challenge Cup and have a quarter-final to look forward to.

The league table doesn’t lie, and sixth place is a fair representation of our season. We have three wins and a draw against teams below us, but are yet to beat any of the teams above us, with only two draws to show for those five games. However, no-one has looked drastically better than us, meaning minor improvements throughout the team should be enough for a better return in the second quarter.
