Drink- driver caught by own dashcam

A drink- driver has been jailed after being caught speeding at 132mph coming back from the pub – by his own dashcam.

Nathan Williams ,41, was stopped in his BMW by officers while travelling home from the Wayfarer pub in Stone, Staffordshire, on 6 July.

He had crashed into a Ford Focus on the northbound M6 moments after reaching top speed. Mr Williams, of Stokeon- Trent, was sentenced to 12 months in prison at Newcastle Magistrates Court. He was also disqualified from driving for three years and six months.
