Braehead makes bumper impact

Shopping centre I ntu Brae head contri buted £334.9 million to the local economy last year according to a new report by its owner.

A total of 8,226 local jobs were also supported in 2016, according to Intu – representing 10 per cent of all jobs in the area. The group owns many of the UK’S largest shopping centres, including El don Square in Newcastle.
