Tail wags dog

-

The undemocratic and malign influence of the Green Party on Scotland would seem to confirm the fears of those who had deep reservations about the Holyrood set-up in the first place. A party whose MSPS could just about fit in a phone box is holding the hapless SNP government to ransom. Science and reason have been abandoned with regards to fracking and now they push

for higher taxes (your report, 23 October), well aware that the SNP will have to take the rap, no doubt to fund their fantasy-riddled schemes and hopes. I was once very much in favour of proportional representation. Now I have my doubts. What is happening in Scotland today should be the feared tail-wagging-dog lesson to us all and show quite clearly the down side of PR.
