Buccleuch buys capital estate in £2.5m deal
A key industrial estate in Edinburgh has changed hands in a £2.5 million deal.
Buccleuch Property, the property investment and development company, said the acquisition of the West Telferton estate would strengthen its industrial portfolio.
The firm has bought the 3.3-acre site, which consists of 11 units, across six terraces and two standalone buildings, from IPIF. It said the deal represented an initial yield of 7.2 per cent.
Phil Eves of Buccleuch Property said: “There is strong demand for this type of industrial accommodation and we continue to seek new investment and development opportunities of this type.”
