St Johnstone Positives amid the gloom

-

Tynecastle is a wonderful stadium to watch football in. Murrayfield was a soulless arena that lacked everything Tynecastle contributes to the spectator experience. The novelty of playing there is not one to repeat.

When the word free-fall is being heard after recent results it is important not to lose sight of some positives. aaron co mrie and li am gordon both stood up well to Hearts’ attempts to pressurise Saints’ perceived weakness in defence. Liam suffered for the team. He appeared to be taken out deliberately in mid-air in frustration at repeated failures to unsettle him and later a clattering resulted in his head being bandaged. Saints’ squad will change and it is good to see there are players ready to take their chance.
