Partick Thistle Confidence boost

It’s been a while but finally something positive to write on the page after Thistle’s first victory of the league season. Now let’s not go overboard, Dundee could have been well ahead had it not been for Tomas Cerny and their profligacy in front of goal. But all season Lady Luck has not smiled on the Jags and finally she decided it was our turn.

Given the number of late goals that Thistle have conceded over the last few seasons it made the winner all the more sweeter coming in the 92nd minute. It’s a welcome three points but I’m not kidding myself. The centre of the park still concerns me greatly. The good thing is a win will give the boys some much needed confidence. Now they must build on it.
