IT business Sword snaps up Venture

Energy sector specialist Venture Information Management has been acquired by Sword IT Solutions for an undisclosed sum.

Sword, which employs some 220 people across its three primary locations in Aberdeen, Edinburgh and London, said the deal would“further enhance the joint capabilities of both organisations”. Venture Information Management is based in Stainesupon- Thames and Aberdeen.

Sword chief executive Dave Bruce said: “This deal reflects our commitment to the energy industry and allows us to deliver a more complete information management solution.”
