What a difference a week makes! The performance we all hoped was there actually happened. The deserved 2- 0 win resulted in Dundee United firing their managerand the second goal was a contender for goal of the season.

John Robertson has been under pressure given our fairly dire start to the season and must feel relieved, as must some of the players. But have we given ourselves too much to do to grab a play- off spot? It’s only October, so hopefully plenty of time left.

Next up is in- form Dunfermline. Only a couple of months ago we had a horror show at East End Park which ended in a gubbing. This is an opportunity to show we can match the teams higher up the table with a more positive result.
