Teen identified after being killed by Glasgow train
A person who died after being hit by a train in Glasgow has been identified as a local teenager.
British Transport Police had appealed for information to help identify the youth, who was killed shortly before 8:15pm on Friday at Hillfoot Station in Bearsden.
Following the appeal, he has now been identified as a 16-year-old boy from the area.
The death is not being treated as suspicious.
A BTP spokesman said: “His family have been informed and are being supported by specialist officers.”
