Revellers given Halloween fright by hooded gang

A gang of youths attacked a man and woman with bottles near Glasgow as the pair were returning home from a Halloween party.

The two people were seriously assaulted in an unprovoked attack in Uddingston about 12:15am on Saturday.

They were taken to hospital with head injuries, but have since been released. The suspects were aged from 15 to 17 and were wearing tracksuits and hooded tops.
