Glencore boosts commodity view

Mining giant Glencore has raised full-year guidance for its commodity trading operations, delivering some good news for the business despite a slowdown in production in its mining division.

Glencore said annual earnings are expected to be between $2.6bn and $2.8bn, up from estimates of between $2.4bn and $2.7bn.
