Drug dealers are warned after ‘remote’ seizure

-

Police in Skye and Lochalsh have warned residents in remote areas that geography will not protect them if they choose to become involved in trading illegal drugs.

The warning was issued after cocaine and cannabis were seized by police in the Applecross area on Monday.

Local officers acting on intelligence also found a four-figure sum of cash during a search of the property.

A 29-year-old man has been charged over the haul.

The case has been reported to the procurator-fiscal.
