Partick Thistle Excellent week

- Raymond Stark

It’s been a good last seven days for the Jags. Seven points from a possible nine is a good return and has lifted us off the bottom of the table. When you factor in the ineptitude of referee Steven Mclean at Hamilton last week it could have been nine points.

It’s good to see Miles Storey getting in among the goals. His winner against the Saints on Saturday was proof of his pace and his clinical finish polished off the job. He made Joe Shaugnessy appear to be treading water as he turned him. The addition of Martin Woods last week will provide much-needed cover as we await the return of our long-term absentees. Special praise also to Paul Mcginn and Steven Lawless who have excelled as wing-backs recently.
