Faulty figure

“.. Scotland, where 62 per cent of the population voted to remain in the European Union in last year’s referendum ”( Scots man leader ,2 November.) 62 per cent of the population? It wasn’t even 62 per cent of the electorate. It was 62 per cent of those who voted – rather like the vote in Catalonia, which is also fre - quently misrepresented.
