Raza’s bit of history as Windies are held

-

Sikandar R aza wrote his name alongside a great of cricket history as Zimbabwe held onto force a draw in the second Test against the West Indies in Bulawayo.

Raza’ s second innings 89 frustrated the tourists as he became just the second player in history after Jacques Kallis to score over 80 in both innings and also take five wickets.

The West Indies had started the final day confident of claiming the remaining wickets they needed but ultimately had to be satisfied to accept the 1- 0 series win.

Regis Chakabva scored 71 to assist Raza’s effort at the crease, while captain Graeme Cremer also blocked well with an unbeaten 28 off 150 balls.
