Centrica steps on takeover gas

Scottish Gas-owner Centrica has splashed out million (£62m) to acquire Restore, a demand response aggregator.

The Belgian firm manages 1.7GW of “peak load” from a portfolio of industrial and commercial customers in Belgium, the UK, France and Germany.

The business will be part of Centrica’s international distributed energy and power unit,
