Two found dead as blaze ravages Ayrshire building

Two men have died in a house fire in Ayrshire.

Police Scotland has confirmed that emergency services were called to the property in Johnston Drive, Troon, about 8:25am yesterday.

A police spokeswoman said: “Inquiries into the incident are continuing and a report will be sent to the procurator fiscal.”

The building has been listed unsafe to enter due to the extent of the damage.

It is understood the incident is not being treated as suspicious. The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service was still at the scene last night.
