I received a letter dated 13 June to say that I had been added to the orthopaedi­cs waiting list for an appointmen­t to see about my knees.

It says: “NHS Lothian is committed to reducing waiting times and ensuring patients are seen as soon as possible. The length of wait for each speciality is different and for some specialiti­es patients may have to wait for up to or more than 12 weeks.”
