Minister in new Brexit alert

There has been no progress in arrangements for agricultural, fishing and environmental industries post-brexit, according to Scotland’s rural affairs secretary.

Fergus Ewing was speaking after a meeting with ministers in London yesterday. He said concerns were due to the UK government’s “failure to provide certainty over the future of EU funding”. Theresa May had earlier challenged business leaders to step up research funding to prepare the UK economy for life after Brexit.
