Royal treatment: In Britannia’s sick bay

Julie Harding is reunited with surgeon Eric Birkbeck and assistant Andy Travis on the royal yacht Britannia, marking 25 years since the Wren interrupted the Queen on a Scottish cruise to receive emergency treatment. The 18-year-old was serving on HMS Brilliant which was escorting Britannia when she was hurt in an accident and received medical treatment from the Queen’s doctors.
