Dundee Cheap goals

-

The history books for last weekend won’t record Glen Kamara strolling through the midfield battle, Jack Hendry’s assured performance or Faissal El Bakhtaoui’s marauding runs, but it will record yet another defeat for Dundee.

I don’t blame those who don’t follow us week in, week out for chortling at fans’ views that we’re playing good football and could yet come good, as the stats don’t lie. But it’s frustrating to see cheap goals costing us points and piling pressure on the team. We’ve been here before. Hartley persisted last season with a patient passing game before results pressured him into the ugly but effective “lump it to Haber” tactics which saw us through. Whether Mccann resorts to route one – and whether it would be a good move in the long term – is up for debate.
