Queen of the South Sweet revenge

-

Queens were able to avenge September’s 2-1 defeat to Morton at Palmerston with a victory by the same scoreline at Cappielow on Saturday.

After falling behind early on, goals either side of half-time sealed the win and were an encouraging sign of the resilience and confidence that the squad are slowly building. Although the result didn’t see us move up the table, we are now only two points off the top. With the league as tight as it is, anyone who can knock together a consistent run will find themselves in a strong position. We are now unbeaten in five, with three straight wins to our name. Next up, two long trips to TNS and Montrose in the two remaining cup competitions. Both offer an excellent chance to extend the unbeaten run.
