Falkirk Wonder Bairn

I can’t remember the last time I was so excited about a footballer! But the introduction to firstteam football for Falkirk’s Cieran Dunne is certainly providing a lot of excitement!

Fast, direct, skilful, with the ability to beat his man and put a dangerous cross into the box is to name a few of his attributes. At only 17 years old he is a breath of fresh air and exactly what has been missing for the Bairns. Dunfermline couldn’t handle him on Saturday, every attempted tackle was a foul! It was amazing our visitors managed to keep nine players on the park by full-time! Paul Hartley was also impressive with his tactical substitutions. Taking off a defender and going all-out attack was a brave move. Once his first win comes the rest will follow.
