Morton Raise your game

-

Two goals either side of half-time saw Morton fall to their fourth defeat of the season at home to Queen of the South.

Gary Harkins’ penalty inside ten minutes had the Greenock faithful feeling confident – but those positive vibes quickly diminished. Saturday’s defeat extended the club’s worrying form, which now stretches to just four wins in 23 league matches. So how does Duffy end the rot? The return of Lee Kilday, Thomas O’ware, Michael Tidser and Jai Quitongo will undoubtedly add more creativity and steel to the squad – but that may take time. So the likes of Robert Thompson, Michael Doyle, Gary Oliver and last year’s POTY, Ross Forbes, must now up their game if the Ton want to climb the table.
