Youths detained after lighting fire at local school
Four youths have been detained for allegedly lighting a fire at a mothballed Aberdeen school.
Police confirmed that three youths aged 15 and one aged 14 had been charged with wilful fireraising at the disused Cordyce School in Dyce.
Firefighters were called out to a blaze at the school building about 11pm on Monday. Police said the building was extensively damaged, but no-one was injured.
