Speedy Hire in ‘confident’ mood

Tool rental firm Speedy Hire said it was “confident” of beating fullyear expectations as it posted an 11.1 per cent rise in pre-tax profits to £6 million for the six months to 30 September.

Underlying revenues rose 6.9 per cent to £183.2m. It added it was considering “future strategic options” thanks to its improved performance following an overhaul in 2015.
