Speak up for old
As a 96-year-old man whose wife died 15 years ago, I have advice for the modern “oldie”. People speak more quickly today and my brain works more slowly, and my ears and eyes and sense of touch are all less efficient, so when I can’t understand what is being said, I ask the speaker to talk more slowly and loudly and use their hands to help.
