IVF hopefuls told to take vitamin D
Taking vitamin D pills could help women get pregnant, say scientists.
A study at Birmingham University found those undergoing fertility treatment were a third more likely to have a baby if their levels of the “sunshine vitamin” were high.the study of 2,700 women having IVF or other forms of assisted reproductive treatment also found they were 46 per cent more likely to conceive.
Co-author Dr Ioannis Gallos said the find had been “startling”.
