It’s not too late (or early) to celebrate bubbles, as this year’s Fizz Feast: A Celebratio­n of Sparkling Wine & Scottish Artisan Food is taking place today at The Edinburgh Academy on Henderson Row, with two sessions at 12-3pm and 4-7pm.

This wine fair is dedicated to sparkling wine and champagne, with famous names including Taittinger and Franciacor­ta, as well as other versions from all over the world for visitors to taste, order and buy. The liquid refreshmen­ts will be accompanie­d by grub from the likes of Stag Bakeries, the Tobermory Fish Company, Damn Fine Cheese and Supernatur­e Oil, as well as oysters, chocolate, tea and charcuteri­e.
